I'm really feeling stressed out and it's only the beginning of day 3!
My weekly hours are divided in the following major time blocks:
- Teaching Third Grade: 43 hours
- Commuting to and from school site: 5 hours
- Class: 8 hours
- Tutoring: 12 hours (some weeks it's even more)
- Babysitting: 8 hours (I'm considering quitting since my schedule is so packed!)
That comes to a total of 76 hours a week. It doesn't include lesson planning, class assignments, studying for exams, or sleeping. If you do the math, that leaves 92 hours in the week to do all of that along with the usual daily routines of showering, grooming, eating, emails, blogging, laundry, sleeping, etc. When you consider all of that, it becomes a little overwhelming. I have not even started classes (my first class is this evening) and I'm feeling stressed!
It is going to be a long and rough final quarter.
Oh dear. I haven't even broken my quarter down like that yet. I worry I've taken on too much, but we'll see! Good luck with all of your work in the coming weeks! We'll both get through it.
