An Unwelcome Guest

I must admit that I was too terrified to walk past this opossum.

I honestly could not get myself to walk up the stairs to get into my apartment past that scary little creature. All I could do was hope the opossum would go away. Luckily, it left after about 5 minutes. I think the opossum was just as scared of me as I was of it.

I would have hesitated for a moment too. It's good to remind ourselves that they're probably more scared of us than we are of them. After all, not every animal is the crazy Killer Rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
