I've been looking at photos of some of my older paintings. This set of three was awesome. They were painted and given to a friend. It's always so hard for me to give my paintings away; they're literally little pieces of me.
Sadly, the photo above (taken with a cell phone camera) is the only photo that I have of the finished paintings. [There are actually several of my paintings that I don't even have any photos of!] That is literally the FULL SIZE photo. Totally lame. You can't see any details. It almost looks like they're black with white spots on them! It's not black at all. Dark, but colorful. And lots of little stars.
I did manage to find a few "in progress" photos of the paintings:
These "in progress" shots don't do the paintings justice. Aside from the terrible glare on the brush strokes from the flash, it's missing a few more coats of paint and the smaller "stars".
I really wish that I had been more diligent about taking pictures of all my finished works of art. This set is just one of many that I do not have final photos of.
