Pocket Apple Pies

I was so excited when I saw this little Pocket Apple Pie gadget in the Martha Stewart magazine last month that I just had to buy one and try it myself.

And here is what mine looks like:



Although they were not the prettiest pocket apple pies, they were delicious. It is possible that this gadget doesn't work well with all pie crust recipes, so I am going to try it again using the pie crust recipe on the back of the box.

I own these and I've yet to use them. My motto with baking has always been "if it's delicious, how it looks doesn't matter". I really do need to use them...maybe after the holidays.
