I'm a huge believer in the benefits of music and music therapy. Being unemployed and living on the couch with my sisters As a result, I am on a mission to create the Ultimate Happy Playlist.
Please leave me a comment letting me know what song makes you really happy. (And if you can link the song from YouTube, even better!)
I promise to listen to every single song mentioned and create a playlist that I will share with everyone on my blog.
My pick would be the song New Shoes by Paolo Nutini:Send this link to everyone you know ... the more song recommendations I can get, the better the CD! Please help me create the Ultimate Happy Playlist!
Leni, this is a great idea. I wanted to create a happy songs playlist on my iPod for so long now, but I never really got to it.
My happy song right now is Michael Bublé with "Haven't met you yet". I just recently posted a blog post about it on my blog.
Oh and here is the youtube link to it

"Can You Feel It?" by the Jacksons! The video has sound effects added to it, so if you're making an audio-only playlist, you'll want to use the original audio recording:

Mine would be "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the proclaimers. It was our wedding song but its so fun to turn up as loud as you can and sing and dance around too! I love it!

Coldplay - Don't Panic
That's absolutely at the top of my list. I think this is an excellent idea. And so much fun. I have a few others that popped out when I searched my library of music:
Frou Frou - Let Go
Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes
Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place
Weezer - Buddy Holly (though most everything they do makes me happy)
Tom Petty - Runnin Down a Dream
Stereophonics - Dakota
Can't wait to see -- I mean, hear -- the final product!!

Let Go - Frou Frou is great, but I see someone's already mentioned it...
And just to be a little silly...
That's Not My Name, by the Ting Tings. lol. :)
