I spent all last week cooking and hanging out with M's family. It was great, except I didn't remember to take any photos of the food and I don't have a single photo of M and me. [I even brought out my nice camera to practice my photography!] I really have to remember to hand my camera to other people to get some photos of us. I have photos of everyone else and group photos that we're both in, but no photos of just the two of us. It's pretty sad actually, especially considering the fact that there are over 100 photos taken with my camera!
Of all the photos I took, this has to be my favorite. Aren't those two just adorable?! This next photo of M and his god-daughter is a second favorite:
On a sad note, I let the little boy pictured above play a game on my laptop. Some how he managed to ruin a couple of rows a pixels across my computer screen when I wasn't looking! I know that this laptop isn't going to last forever, but I was really hoping to have it last me through the teaching credential program!
I will be spending this week with at M's aunt and uncle's house. M's aunt and I will spend the week cooking together for Thanksgiving! I will be back next Monday after all the baking and cooking festivities are over.
Have a thankful and family/friend filled Thanksgiving!
And a special THANKS to you, my readers, for following this blog!
M, Lex and I all went to The Grove last night for the tree lighting ceremony. We didn't get there early enough to all get great seats. (Although, Lex and I were able to sneak in to get right up next to the stage! We ended up giving up because M wasn't with us.)
I love the way it looks like Santa is flying past the Christmas tree on his sleigh!
While I'm excited that it's Friday, I'm tired of always having so many assingments and projects to do that take up my weekends. I'm really looking forward to Winter break. I keep reminding myself that it's only a few more weeks away. I just need to stay strong and push through this.
Some fun links for the weekend:
If you ever have trouble finding your phone you'll need this link.
Sorry for being MIA the last couple of days. Taking seven classes has finally become a little overwhelming! For some reason, all the major projects and assignments seem to be due around the same time. Hopefully I am able to stay on top of it from here on out.
Here are some of the photos taken this past weekend in San Diego.
I love street art! The attention to detail in this one makes it amaing. [Notice even the shaddow.]
A close up of the funniest one [the yellow guy]:
A photo of us in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp District:
I ran the Coronado Half-Marathon yesterday with Brandi from Not Your Average Ordinary. We split up during the run and didn't manage to find each other at the finish line. I was hoping to meet up with her to take some pictures at the finish line, but with so many people there, we didn't manage to meet back up.
Here are the Half-Marathon photos I have with M and Lex:
Congrats Brandi on being a half-marathoner, and a big thanks for the training help along the way!! Oh, and your chocolate-chip cookies were AMAZING!
I'm definitely sick. I am congested and am having trouble breathing. I am VERY worried about how that will affect my run this Sunday. On top of that, I hurt my hip yesterday. I'm not sure exactly what I did to it, but it is difficult to go up and down stairs and is uncomfortable when I walk.
