I'm definitely sick. I am congested and am having trouble breathing. I am VERY worried about how that will affect my run this Sunday. On top of that, I hurt my hip yesterday. I'm not sure exactly what I did to it, but it is difficult to go up and down stairs and is uncomfortable when I walk.
Please let me be healed by race day!
Oh no! As far as the sickness goes, get a neti pot and start using that -- it works wonders on congestion. Ice the hip, take it easy, and hopefully you'll be healed by race day. Worst case scenario, you switch to the 5K.
And the place I was thinking we could go on Saturday for lunch also does brunch at the same time. It's a stellar menu.
